Pastor Michael has prophesied there would be an army of young people to defend the gospel of Jesus Christ, live holy unto the Lord in purity, who would share the gospel of Jesus Christ with young people they come in contact with.
In NEWGEN (aka: Armor Bearers Young People’s Union – ABYPU) we promote balanced living giving priority to the individual youth member having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The importance of education, family respect and responsibility, personal respect and responsibility and leadership development are also emphasized.
NEWGEN provides leadership development training young people preparing them for success in ministry as well as in education and in their careers. The NEWGEN Youth Council collectively and under spiritual adult supervision plans and implements their own yearly program. Within NEWGEN our youth learn mutual respect, how to work as a team, how to follow instruction, the importance of a timeline in planning, creating an agenda, planning their programs by meeting the spiritual and natural needs of the young people as directed by God, the importance of networking, and effective public speaking.
NEWGEN ministers to children, teens and young adults (35 years old and under). The program also includes group sessions for personal and spiritual development, a yearly youth retreat, an annual youth day, and an annual park outing where we fellowship with other young people.
We invite all YOUNG PEOPLE to JOIN US in learning more about God and how to MAKE JESUS 1ST IN YOUR LIFE, have FUN with each other, be FRIENDS with each other, use your CREATIVE gifts and talents to WORSHIP GOD and understand why you were born, and WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE.
