CALLING ALL MEN!!

CALLING ALL MEN!!

Tonight, join Pastor Michael as he leads the BT Men’s Ministry  (young and not-so young) in a powerful prayer experience.  All men need direction.  All men need reconciliation.  All men need intervention.  All men need hope. All men need wisdom. All men need healing. All men need forgiveness. All men need help. All men need God!

We are believing God for a very special healing tonight in the hearts, minds and lives of our men and young men and invite all men to come out and take part.  We will be asking for prayer requests during this moment of powerful and life-changing prayer.  We firmly believe that prayer changes things and that faith without works is not enough, so come out and make the first step to a life of change, purpose, productivity, health, wealth  and an impactful relationship with God!

We embrace the mandate that the Church must be an agent for change in the world. In addition to any activity or service that we perform, we must be a people of fervent prayer and humble fasting. No prayer; no power. Little prayer; little power. Much Prayer; Much Power! This is also the day of our congregational fast.  We wholeheartedly believe that fasting is a necessary part of the christian experience as we grow in faith and spiritual maturity.  Furthermore there are circumstances in our lives that make prayer coupled with fasting absolutely necessary.  Speak with Pastor Michael or Lady Michael for details on the fast. (Prayer: 2 Chronicles 20:1-13; Matthew 18:19-20; James 5:13-16 Fasting:  Matthew 17:20-21; Mark 9:28-29 )

Proverbs 3:5-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. 8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

James 1:5-7 (KJV)
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

1 John 5:13-15 (KJV)
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
