Congregational Ministry of Prayer
Oct 7 @ 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

We embrace the mandate that the Church must be an agent for change in the world. In addition to any activity or service that we perform, we must be a people of fervent prayer and humble fasting. No prayer; no power. Little prayer; little power. Much Prayer; Much Power! This is also the day of our congregational fast.  We wholeheartedly believe that fasting is a necessary part of the christian experience as we grow in faith and spiritual maturity.  Furthermore there are circumstances in our lives that make prayer coupled with fasting absolutely necessary.  Speak with Pastor Michael or Lady Michael for details on the fast. (Prayer: 2 Chronicles 20:1-13; Matthew 18:19-20; James 5:13-16 Fasting:  Matthew 17:20-21; Mark 9:28-29 )

Proverbs 3:5-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. 8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

James 1:5-7 (KJV)
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

1 John 5:13-15 (KJV)
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Ministry Servants Appreciation Service
Oct 19 @ 2:30 PM

00_Ministry Servants

Join Pastor and Lady Michael as we honor those who serve in the office of Minister, Deacon, and Missionary.  These faithful servant leaders are often required to serve and minister to souls way beyond what people see.  They support the Pastor and First Lady in sharing the Word of God, providing biblical guidance, praying with souls at the altar and in the prayer room, following up with those who are in need of encouragement and just about in any other area that is required of them.

Today, we share our appreciation and will anoint them afresh as we recognize them for their service, give honor to whom honor is due, and rededicate them in their areas of ministry.  We bless God for them and encourage them to remain “…steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10

Pastor Isaac Hicks, Jr., Lady Kayva Hicks and the precious members of True Word Life Ministries are our special guests.Pastor and Lady Hicks

1 Timothy 5:17-18

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, the labourer is worthy of his reward.
