2025 – THE YEAR OF COMING OUT AND GOING IN! PHILIPPIANS 3:1-16
JANUARY 20TH THROUGH JANUARY 26TH
CONSECRATION : Actions related to separating a person or thing from secular use and dedicating it to the sacred. Consecration also refers to setting apart: Separating a person, building, or object apart for specific use by God. A period of personal transformation where believers are called to recommit to holiness and living pleasing to God in every way, distinct from worldly influences. A time for renewing of the mind as we strengthen our discernment concerning knowing, embracing and living according to God’s will. A time of personal and corporate repentance and reaffirming our obedience to discipleship unto the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE FOCUS: As we enter the year 2025, look at what’s changed – the last number of the year has changed from 4 to 5. While this observation may seem elementary and trite, I believe the Lord is using this simple observation to speak profoundly to my spirit for His people. I see the number 5 being a reminder of how it all started (Ephesians 1:7 ; Ephesians 2:8-9), how we are commanded to live (Romans 6:11-14 ; Titus 2:11-13) and God’s blessings and divine empowerment upon us all year long (2 Corinthians 9:8 ; 2 Corinthians 12:8-10).
During this consecration, we will be revisiting grace as a clarion call for us to break free from anything holding us back from salvation, deliverance and complete submission to God as well as a call for us to step in to divine purposes (individually & collectively) and boldly enter another dimension of blessings upon our lives and families.
THE FAST: A Daniel Fast which includes all fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes (beans), oils, nuts, breads without yeast, sugars or preservatives), herbs, spices, seasonings and seeds. Water, 100% fruit juices, and non-caffeinated teas.
Exclusions include all meat, dairy, seafood, and eggs; sweeteners such as agave nectar, artificial sweeteners, brown rice syrup, brown sugar, cane juice, corn syrup, honey, malt syrup, molasses, raw sugar, sugar, and other syrups, and all caffeinated drinks.
All participants should consult with their healthcare professional(s) to ensure that this type of fasting will not present health challenges. Slow down your pace and be mindful to not overexert yourself physically as even normal physical activity might be strenuous under the conditions of this fast. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to speak with Bishop or Lady Michael.
During the fast, all are asked to limit all forms of entertainment (TV, movies, etc.) and social media (FB, Twitter, IG, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.) to only that which is religious based (preaching, teaching, prayer, worship and the like). While it might not be possible for children 12 and under to fully participate in the food restrictions, please let them participate in this sacred consecration by limiting use of electronic devices and video games and be mindful to share religious programming which will be edifying to them too.
THE PRAYER: During this seven-day consecration, set aside time daily for prayer, scripture reading, and meditation concerning the daily focus. God is speaking concerning breaking out and going in and we need to be spiritually alert and focused. Remember to make notes from your daily readings and inspirations.
Let us do this and be on one accord, to the glory and honor of God.

JEREMIAH 18:1-6; ROMANS 12:1-2 ; 2 TIMOTHY 2:20-21
King James Version (KJV), Amplified Bible (AMP), and The Message Translation (MSG)
JANUARY 16TH THROUGH JANUARY 25TH
CONSECRATION:
- Separating a person, building, or object apart for specific use by God.
- A voluntary act of setting oneself apart from the world and dedicating one’s life entirely to God’s purposes.
- A time of personal and corporate repentance and reaffirming our obedience to discipleship unto the Lord Jesus Christ.
- A period of transformation where believers are called to recommit to holiness and living pleasing to God in every way, distinct from worldly influences.
- A time for renewing of the mind as we strengthen our discernment concerning knowing, embracing, and living according to God’s will.
THE FOCUS: I’m hearing souls crying out, realizing that purpose and divine meaning is attached to being granted the privilege of being allowed to see this new year saying, “Lord, you’ve allowed me to be here for a reason. What will you have me to do now?” Even before the consecration begins, in the depths of my spirit, I’m hearing a response, “Lord, I’m available to you!” (Draw me nearer.)
During this consecration, we will be revisiting the above statement, question, and response in connection with deepening our relationship with God. We’ll intentionally be recommitting ourselves to God and listening attentively for him to speak to our hearts.
THE FAST: We will have one meal a day, anytime that it’s personally convenient and water anytime throughout the day.
- Read Matthew 6:16-18 & Isaiah 58:4-14 for how you should carry / conduct yourself during a fast.
- If you are taking medication requiring that you take the medication with food, please be mindful to eat only that portion of food necessary for safely taking the medications.
- All participants should consult with their healthcare professional(s) to ensure that this type of fasting will not present health challenges.
- Slow down your pace and be mindful to not overexert yourself physically as even normal physical activity might be strenuous under the conditions of this fast. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me.
- During the fast, I’m asking that you limit all forms of entertainment (TV, movies, etc.) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to that which is religious based (preaching, teaching, prayer, worship and the like). Don’t treat or use those platforms the same way you did before the consecration.
- While it might not be possible for children to participate fully in the food restrictions, please teach them about why we participate in fasting and consecrations. Share the scriptures related to this sacred consecration and consider having them participate by limiting use of electronic devices and video games and be mindful to share religious programming which will be edifying to them too.
THE PRAYER: During this ten-day consecration, set aside time daily for prayer, scripture reading, and meditation concerning the daily focus. God is dealing with hearts and what you invest in terms of time spent in reading God’s Word, fasting, focus, meditation, and prayer is going to bless your life in 2026 like never before! Giving God this time will be like a type of first fruits offering until the Lord. This is one of many times in your Christian walk where you should have a notebook and make notes from your daily readings and inspirations as well as from the daily sharing.
Let us do this and be on one accord, to the glory and honor of God.
