Statement of Faith

The Bible
The Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and are the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life and should be proclaimed throughout the world. Deuteronomy 8:3; Psalm 119:105; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; John 5:39; Romans 10:17-18; 2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2

God
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John 1:1-14; John 14:8-9; Colossians 2:8-10; 1 Timothy 3:16

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. There is no salvation outside of Jesus. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; John 14:6; Acts 4:10-12; Philippians 2:1-11; Colossians 2:6-10; Hebrews 10:1-14; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Timothy 3:16

The Holy Spirit
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Rebirth by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential today as it was in the days of the Apostles. John 16:12-14; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Ephesians 3:20; 1 Corinthians 10:12; Titus 2:11-14; Titus 3:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9

Mankind
Mankind was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. The plan of salvation necessitates baptism by water and spirit. Jesus Christ, who was our perfect example, though sinless, was baptized to fulfill righteousness. There truly is no salvation outside of Jesus, who himself declared, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”.  Genesis 1:27; Genesis 3:1-24; Matthew 3:15; John 3:1-7,16; Romans 3:23; Romans 8:9

Baptism
Water baptism (to be born of the water) by immersion after repentance, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. Water baptism in the name Lord Jesus Christ is the clear instruction  of Jesus to the disciples and is required after true repentance (confession and forsaking of of sins), and confirms our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Baptism of the Holy Spirit (to be born of the spirit) is also required in order to be saved, necessary in order to live victoriously and in order to be raptured. For ye shall have power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.  John 3:5-7; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:38-41; Acts 8:27-38; Acts 19:1-7; Romans 6:1-4; Romans 8:9-11; 1 John 4:4

Healing & Miracles
We believe that the Lord is a divine healer and a miracle worker and that because HE is and will always be that miracles still happen. It is by Jesus’ stripes, believers ARE and WERE healed! Healing is “the children’s bread”, is still available and you can receive a miracle right now! Exodus 15:25-27; Exodus 23:25; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 53:4-6; Psalm 103:2-4; Malachi 3:6-7; Matthew 4:23; Matthew 9:20-22; Matthew 9:35; Matthew 10:1; Luke 6:17-19; Acts 3:1-11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; 1 Peter 2:23-24

The Church
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of all believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfill ministry and her Great Commission on earth. This is accomplished through the unified order and present-day active role of the 5-fold ministry as well as the active operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit all for the glory of God. Every spirit filled believer has at least one spiritual gift and it is that believer’s responsibility to discover it and exercise it, through faithful consistent service Do not hide, bury, or sit on your gift.  This is one of the three areas where every believer will be judged – how we use our time, talents and treasures will be judged. Luke 19:12-24; Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15Ephesians 4:11-14; 1 Timothy 3:1-15; Titus 1:4-9; Romans 12:3-10; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3; 1 Corinthians 14:12; Revelation 5:8-10

The Future
Our Blessed Hope lies in Christ Jesus our LORD who has given us the victory over death and hell. Therefore, standing firm on His promise, we anticipate the imminent second coming of Jesus Christ. On that day, the day of The Rapture, the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then, we which are alive and remain will be changed, and caught up together with them in the air. And so shall we forever be with our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. There will be bodily resurrections of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. By accepting the complete and finished work of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ as full and total payment for your sins and being born again, this inevitable righteous judgement can be avoided and the blessedness of eternal life can be yours. Matthew 11:28-29; John 5: 28-29; John 14:3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelations 20:11-15

This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith.

The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
